Kirk’s primary focus is helping inventors and patent owners protect their valuable patent rights. Before becoming an attorney, Kirk developed a passion for software as a developer and Linux admin. He has since channeled that passion into protecting clients’ hard-earned inventions by arguing in multiple courts; drafting briefs for state, district, and appellate courts as well as the U.S. Supreme Court; and getting deep in the weeds on infringement and invalidity theories. Kirk also takes part in the firm’s pro bono activities.
